Memory Lane Monday~ July 7th

I've decided to come back, college is over so why not blog a little more again! So today is MONDAY which means its MLM (memory lane monday), for those who may not have seen this before its throwback Thursday on Monday basically.

  Today's walk down memory lane has taken me back to the 1990's! Earlier this week I saw a post in my Facebook news feed about toys from your childhood that are worth money now. As a 90's kid I did remember some of the toys from this article however it may also have been toys given to my from older cousins. Things like the original game boy selling for just over $800, hmm I wonder what the gameboy colors are going for? aw man only $10.00? Guess I'll keep those for now..... And who remembers these?

Furby ( 1998)

I still remember everyone I knew having these and being so excited to get one for Christmas and it turning into the great Furby fiasco of 1999 as my furby didn't work :(, returned it and that one broke a day later, and then got another new one which didn't work either.Finally number 4 worked and i was just sad it wasn't the colour I had wanted. Oh and whos wondering how much these are going for now? They are selling for about $500?!?! Wait what? Where's my furbies?

Anyone got a first generation Pokemon Charzad card? That could get you about $650.00.. For a piece of paper?! Nice!

Anyone remember caring for some pet on a keyring? Oh, what where they called?! TAMAGOTCHI'S !!

This little keyring device that held our digital pets that many of us loved oh so much, can now get you close to $600?! DAYUMMM!!!

Oh and those Beanie Babies everyone claimed would be worth millions? Yea....... hold onto them for a bit they are only worth about $1. 

You should take a look at the article it's kinda shocking! After reading this I went on a little trip down memory lane to see how many things I could list from my childhood in five minutes....

Memory Lane Mondays (MLM)~ January 6th

Welcome to my first MLM ( Memory Lane Monday) basically its throwback Thursday on a MONDAY.

I'm going to keep it simple this week and just quickly think back on 2013. Since we just had new years a few days ago.

For me i'd say 2013 overall was GREAT! Only a few negative things come to mind, which I couldn't change anyways. Some of the best memories that come to mind right away are camping with my friends, getting good marks, time spent with my niece & nephew, time spent with family, surprise party for my dad, surprise party for my aunt.
