Insane Pony ride @ the Fair

This is one super random post and is basically a flash back to an event that happened when I was younger.

My parents decided to take me to the fair and I decided I wanted to ride the ponies. You know the ones hooked up to the carousel type and have to go in circles. So my mom and dad agreed to let me go on it, nothing could happen simply walking in a circle right? Weekly they were wrong, for whatever reason something spooked the pony I was riding and decided to have a freak out with me riding it. While the other trainers were keeping the other ponies calm mine was trying to calm my pony down and get me off unharmed. Meanwhile my parents as well as others standing around we're panicking that I was going to be thrown off and terrified of horses for life. Well as my mom always tells the story, " My little girl wasn't even the slightest bit scared and just enjoyed the surprise during the ride." I honestly don't remember ever being scared of ponies or horses after this event and even went to riding lessons with my cousin for awhile. I think my mom was way more scared, definitely wasn't ready to let me go on again ;).

My FIRST attempt at a Wordless Wednesday

Since this is my first ATTEMPT at a Wordless Wednesday I'm going to "cheat" by saying a few words.... Okay here goes, I have no idea how to do this but I am going to try.. work with me :P

"What do YOU want to be when you grow up?"

One thing we seem to hear over and over again as we are growing up is "What do you want to be when you grow up?" and "You have a future ahead of you". Sure it's a fun activity to do in JK and i'm sure teachers get a few laughs out of some of the drawings done by a bunch of little kids, but it's not easy to just decide as a child what your going to be, who your going to marry, what your kids or your house will be like. Maybe in a perfect real life fairytale this could happen, but not for me thats for sure!
 Looking back at old assignments from school it looks like over the years I changed my mind  A LOT! Princess, Ballerina, Mommy, Police WOMAN, Firefighter, Vet, Nurse, Ultrasound Technition, Nurse again, Early Childhood Educator. Sure being a princess is still very appealing but chances are slim to none on that one, and I definitly still want to be a mommy in my future. Other than that I have changed my mind a lot since elementary school.

   Throughout high school many of my friends were planning the floor plans to their future dream homes, and what they wanted their family to be like. I was worried that I didnt feel "into"doing that sort of thing, but I eventually did feel like doing that sort of thing. So many plans and a future to build!
